It seems as though the '60's garage punk is the flavour of the day and even though that was 40 years ago there is something very cool about the whole thing. One of the newest "retro" bands on the scene is Sweden's The (International) Noise Conspiracy, featuring ex-Refused vocalist Dennis Lyxzen. Their whole concept is one of telling the world how to live and what political stance to take. The album is very political but if you are in it just for the music you can strip away all the lyrics and have a fun slab of retro punk. The band knows how to take a riff and build on it while anyone who has heard Refused know Dennis' awesomely powerful voice and the potential he has. Fans of Refused will find a few similarities in INC but for the most part Dennis has found a new path. One of salvation. Yeah baby!
