RecommendI don’t know if I haven’t spent any quality time with a Hanson Brothers CD or what but My Game really kicks ass! I’ve listened to NOMEANSNO but these boys as the Hanson Brothers have somehow escaped my ears. I’m talking about one of the best punk albums I have ever heard here. It’s a fun album starting off with the title track with the hilarious line “No fancy schmancy pants and No dipsy doodle dancing. It’s hockey a la Hanson�and never really letting up all the way. These guys totally give “100 + 10%� both in hilarious songwriting about hockey and their actual musicianship. They make the Ramones look like punk hacks while paying tribute to the late great Joey Ramone on “Joey Had To Go�. You can either listen to the brilliant lyrics and laugh yourself silly or just relish in the amazing punk chops these boys have. My Game has my vote for one of the most amazing punk albums this year. Maybe it’s because I haven’t heard the Hanson Brothers before but that’s where I’m at.
