A set of satisfying roots rock and country tunes delivered with fun and reverence by Canada's versions of Hank III and Steve Earle. This is no knock; the US is full of country wannabe's who haven't absorbed the spirit of the music half as deeply as these two. This is no record by a couple of drunks who want to hop on a genre bandwagon because they suck at emo. They probably do, but I'll bet they thank God for that. Grab a beer and a bible and have a "Shot of Jesus" or a "Whiskey", or even hop on the "Gin Train." You can also tip a few in "Hipster Town" with "Brandon" or at the "Rodeo." You can even overdo it and pass out "In the Pines." This is not a record that will change your life, but will be a good friend for a few hours here and there if you need it.
