Two vocalists and one of the most heavy crazed, sensible guitar attacks in grindcore, TNTLJLY, with Put on Your Rosy Red Glasses, rises above the genre’s limitations and adds new smart, and brutal twists. We’re talking about a debut record, too, friends. Monsters are real in New Jersey. “Jesus and “Tori” and Civeta Dei” are overwhelming in composition and rage; “If these bullets Could Talk” and “Blue Dress” hint at what they might explore lyrically with maturity. Like Big Bear or hearing Sleep for the first time, this record puts you in the presence of a band on the road to shredding an existing genre and putting their own boot-heels onto it.
