On hs latest effort Toby Marks has managed to take us on even more of a journey than any of his latter albums. Toby, himself, took a journey to Egypt which led to the inspiration behind Igizeh. On this album he takes Egyptian sounds, such as Egyptian kids chanting, and builds up on top of them. One of the tracks, "Gizeh", was actually partially recorded inside the Great Pyramid of the same name. Recording was also done at the Temple of Seti in Thebes. The use of a Turkish clarinet on one of the tracks weaves in and out through his already complicated sound. Vocals are prominent on a couple of tracks but for the most part Toby keeps the music very etheral and weaving in and out of your head. Toby's brilliance shines through and he creates yet another intriguing album.
