Divorcee - Music For Cleanup Men, Breakdown, and Inbetweeners
Divorcee play glorious Power Pop, and are most famous for their almost-heard hit "Lovesick", from 2001 and then nevermore. "Brand New" and "Twister" rock with Brit-rock goodness; the acoustic-driven "Black Hole" and "Know Your Home" sound like outtakes from the Let It Be sessions, which is apropo since this Minneapolis trio has absorbed the Beatles down to Ringo's naughty bits. Divorcee will probably be around forever, since their ears have been in the right place, and they joy that must be in the studio when they record ought to carry them far. Will somebody help me make "Blow Me To Pieces" a huge hit?
