It's been a bit of a wait but Emma Anderson and Lisa O'Neill are back with their follow-up to The Joy of Sing-Sing, released in 2001. This was due to a bunch of label issues but they managed to get enough cash together to release the album themselves. Sony BMG have picked up the distribution and hopefully it should be enough to get Sing-Sing out to the people who need them. Sing-Sing And I is a nice gentle pop album that has some nice lush (pun unintentional) arrangements on tracks like "Ruby". The pop music that these girls are capable of is not completely original but it is very rare that you can hear duplicate vocals as pretty and as compelling as Sing-Sing. There were a couple tracks I didn't care for, one being "The Time Has Come". It just sounds forced. Besides that smaller complaint Sing-Sing And I is another good, listenable album from these two British girls. I also have to mention that Mark Van Hoen did a great job on the production of the album.
