RecommendGuitarist Henry Flower likes to barely be heard; you need to lean in to hear his soft drone, his sound collages that often are improv responses to paintings or to natural environments. This four song record, Non Regurgam holds up to repeated leanings in. "Secret History" "Dreaming of Oxygen" frame the disc with short bursts of movement, respectful silence, and a lot of color. Even before the death of Derek Bailey, ambient improv guitar has been hot and responsible for some of the best sounds of the last few years. Off the radar, Henry flower has been adding his own voice.
