Black Cobra features Ex-Cavity and 16 members. They continue the short songs, the slow grindcore that have made their bands hidden legends. In recent years this strain of metal, which takes Black Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf" as a sonic starting point and slows it down, has proven to be one of the more inspired and intelligent (sic) of the tired old genre. "One Nine" "Thrown From Great Heights"; "Omniscient" the epic "Broken on the wheel"add thrash and throaty vocals to the mix, but you knew they were going to be in there anyway. This great, plodding riff-mischief for kids to hear instead of the commercial shit that passes for metal, and for old-timers to hear to not feel pathetic for still liking metal. The Black Cobra flag still flies with Bestial.
