RecommendThose planning on tripping to Providence, RI next month for Terrastock6 might want to crank this latest from Makoto Kawabata and company. They will be there to kick off the festival, and the two guitar freak-outs on this record will set the proper noisy-psych mood. "Trigger In Trigger Out" shreds from start to finish, just an overwhelming gust of fretwork and Shiva- armed drumming. "They're Coming From The Cosmic Inferno" is more reflective for a few minutes, which is to say, spaced and moody, a nice cool-down from the screaming harmonics of the first track. You can't go wrong with anything Acid Mothers Temple puts out; not that he is critic-proof, but his personal vision is right there for you to take in or leave. And he doesn't sound interested in your answer.
