I've never been a huge fan of the man known as Ursula 1000 (aka Alex Gimeno) but I do have to admit that his music is damn fun. Here Comes Tomorrow is the first full album that I have been exposed to and after a few listens I have become a fan. Things really get going on a few tracks like the super funky "Boop" with a fun female vocal. There is a bit of Beck-Midnight Vultures influence apparent on "Elektric Boogie". "Two Tone Rocka" is, as you may have guessed, his pretty good attempt at a ska track. It got me rocking. "Mirkin In The Mystic" is the only real letdown on the whole album. There is a lot of variety on Here Comes Tomorrow making it a great party album. I hear a lot of similarities between Ursula 1000 and Fantastic Plastic Machine.
