I've been a long time Death By Stereo fan and I honestly think they will spend the rest of their career trying to top Into The Valley Of Death. It was an almost perfect display of their somewhat melodic hardcore. The band puts so many other like bands to shame because of the sheer intensity they possess. That intensity is also present on Death For Life and while it doesn't quite live up to Valley it is almost on par. The album starts out very strong with ""Binge/Purge" and then slides into the dynamic "I Give My Life". Their mix of hardcore and old school metal blend perfectly on this track. There are a few moments on Death For Life where we are subjected to some radio metal (see "Forever and a Day" for proof) but for the most part Death By Stereo keep it much heavier than the masses can handle. This is one of the better metal bands going right now.
