RecommendOtherworldly singer Tujiko Noriko and producer Riow Arai collaborate on an achingly beautiful pop dream-fest that after a couple listens make you wonder why this woman is not a huge star. Maybe soon. The songs seems to depict a world all her own, like the work of the best artists. Fragile and confident at once, these songs lull you into Noriko's world, which seems so much more comforting than our own. Arai has produced both hip-hop records and video game soundtracks; the latter experience has served him well in helping to create a new universe. RATN is truly stunning and capable of inducing spontaneous hope and a need to lie down. Classic.
