RecommendI first became a Bouncing Souls fan when I saw them play live at a Punkorama tour with Dropkick Murphys and they literally blew me away. It really is surprising that I hadn't got into them before seeing that they had been around in some form or another since 1987. That's a long time for a punk band to keep it up. If you have never heard Bouncing Souls and enjoy good melodic punk rock then you best be lining up at your record store to buy Summer Vacation. This is one of the most fun punk albums to come out in a while. They borrow a bit from Ska as well as Oi-style punk to create a very listenable brand of their own punk rock. It is an album that fans will be singing along with for years to come. Bouncing Souls are fun and silly but maintain their credibility by writing great songs.
