RecommendIf you like your metal heavy and with an old school flavor then stop what your doing and pay attention to what I have to say about Matador's new signing, Early Man. Now I have heard some bands compared to that of Black Sabbath but none can compare quite as much as this two man outfit. The riffs are huge and the vocals resemble Ozzy more than any that I've heard in recent years. I might even argue that some of the riffs were borrowed off of Metallica's Kill 'em All album. There isn't a lot of lightning speed riffs, instead the guitars plod along at a reasonable pace. There aren't any really stand out tracks but Closing In stands up well as an album and a testament to some kids that have been heavily influenced by old school metal. Early Man goes down nicely and would also appeal to fans of stoner rock.
