Automatic is a perfect case for taking an influence and totally building on it. Born and bred on the DC hardcore scene, more Dag Nasty then anything, they decided they wanted to do the same thing, only better. Grabbing ex-players from Enkindels, Guilt, By the Grace Of God, MouthPiece and a few first timers Automatic was born. They just wanted to play straight edge hardcore in the vein of Dag Nasty and man, do they rock. If DN was still around today they would be hardpressed to get this polished. The songs are catchy and yet always in your face. They put enough rock aspects in their music to hold your attention. Be sure to catch these guys live.
