RecommendImagine a band featuring four cheerleaders, three drummers, and loud camp, and then like it! This 12 member band has been creating quite a mess during their live shows, some of which have apparently continued into the streets. Ziggy might have played guitar, but they play two, and this is fun power pop with whackiness that doesn't annoy or lose its bubblegum flavor. While any description of Bling Kong conjures images of Hedwig or a gay Spinal Tap, this is no mere parody of a parody. The EP shows enough gusto and freshness that they will last longer that Dread Zeppelin, and maybe not as long as Gwar.
