RecommendThis album is the second in Nettwerk's Subconscious compilation series and it goes back to the roots of the label. Compiled by ex-Skinny Puppy Cevin Key showing that he still has his hands in everything. The tracks chosen for this compilation come from Download, Doubting Thomas, Skinny Puppy, Philth, and the more mellow track comes from Legendary Pink Dots. For the most part the album holds together nicely as a document of where industrial music is going. Heavy at times and at other just downright spooky. If you are at all into programmed music or are interested in what the possibilities are then Wild Planet is a great pick for you.
