Four teens who rock with more power and, more importantly, more vision, than almost any band I've heard in months. A gritty combination of power chords and angst, King Elementary kick it with pop and punk, but in a way that never devolves into the tired lameness of virtually every pop-punk band. You can tell they are listening to each other and to the experiences around them, and are intent on producing results fearlessly. From the harsh "Hit the Mirror" to the sublime "Rebecca", they are bursting with musical ideas. This is a band to keep an eye on. To my knowledge, they have been playing since 2002, and their oldest member is 19. Get on the bandwagon now.
