Temper Temper's songs are well written, full of energy, and beaming with accessibility. I can see Temper Temper becoming very popular, very quickly. The lyrics, violent and dark, have an ability to pull its listener into a damp state of mind while the heavy drumming and lively synthesizer creates triumphant dance music.
The accessibility, however, has made the music sound extremely uninspired. Temper Temper is, again, another hollow indie pop band regurgitated from better bands like Mates of State, Franz Ferdinand, and Mooney Suzuki. The standout tracks are definitely "Sexy Little Cuts" and "Heart Like a Fist," both catchy and full of energy. I found myself trapped within this album, dimly interested, and slightly panicked.
