A lot of people cringe when you start talking about female fronted punk bands (or metal bands for that matter). That is probably the case when the name Tsunami Bomb starts floating around. Tsunami Bomb is fronted by the enigmatic Agent M who has a great singing voice and leaves the yelling to the boys. The Definitive Act is the band's sophomore album and it actually breaks through the female fronted punk band myth. These guys actually rock pretty hard. They give Thursday a run for their money with the dual vocal attack. The difference? Agent M's cool as ice vocals. So what if there's a girl singing. The thing I like about The Definitive Act is that there is actual singing going on. After a few listens you may start to tire from Agent M's voice but really, who doesn't tire from a punk band. The band is aggressive with some great guitar riffs travelling right alongside the vocals. This album has turned me into a Tsunami Bomb fan and I will be keeping an eye on where they go from here.
