Forever Changed are an earnest young Florida band that plays emo-power pop in a way that is both too derivative and yet capable of something much more. Maturity hopefully will balance both sides of the coin. Their brand of emo is full of hooks, and convincingly registers a few sonic punches. "Last Time", "Vanity Letter", "Romance in Denial" in particular rock with a sweetness you know you've heard somewhere before. You have. But that doesn't mean that this will be another in a long string of emotional kids staying kids through every record. They are young, and they already know all the emo cliches to perfection. Now they need to take it to another level.
