RecommendNettwerk has been doing a fine job on their Plastic Comps, this one being the third in the series. The premise behind this series is to take somewhat popular tracks and twist them into a type of club track. This is the finest moment with tracks from Beth Orton, Moloko, Sarah McLachlan (a mainstay of Nettwerk), and Delerium. They manage to fit in their own artists alongside bigger artist like Moby, Chemical Brothers, and Filter. When dance music can be stale (read:club cutz, Chris Sheppard) these Nettwerk compilation provide great relief in allowing us to shake our booty once again.
