The Six Degrees label has been putting out some pretty cool world fusion stuff these last couple of years and they are also reaching into the electronica world with artists such as Sylk 130, Banco de Gaia, and State of Bengal. Motion brings it all together proving that music is indeed an international language that can make any body move whether it be black, white, Asian, Brazilian… Motion does a fine job at bringing some very creative remixes (save the track from already dancy Dzihan and Kamien track “B Movie). The album starts off with a great mix of Brazilian chanteuse Bebel Gilberto. Midway there is a drumfest with Bob Holroyd’s “Drumming up a storm and even DJ Cam makes an appearance with a remix of “DJ Cam Soundsystem. The album closes with a brilliant mix of Euphoria’s “Delirium by Gary Hughes. Six Degrees proves its worth in the dancehalls here.
