RecommendInstinct has been cutting edge in the world of acid jazz and the reason for this is they are visionaries. They tear down walls and boundaries and go out and find the hottest stuff going at that moment in time. Future, Jazz is no exception with all the big names in the underground trip hop world like Innerzone Orchestra, DK Krush, Spacetime Continuum, and even a Blue Note artist Tim Hagans. The continuity is smooth as all the artists enclosed have similar qualities in the wrld of modern acid jazz. I think even hard core jazz fans would be able to sit back and find redeeming qualities about this release. If you are new to this sort of thing this is as good a place as any to start finding out about the future of jazz.
