Tim Cullen sings power pop with pre-pubescent vocals and bouncy chord progressions that in turn, cause lightheadedness. However, "Fun Razor" is a pretty substantial and impressive pop album. Tim Cullen, a girlish looking, blonde, skinny man in his mid-twenties definitely has the potential to make pre-teen girls swoon. He sings of uncomplicated feelings, situations, and crushes.

In "The Valentine," he repeats, "be mine" over and over, followed by "it's just another day, all I want to say, is be mine."

What makes this album a superior pop album though, are the hooks that he manages to scatter throughout every song on this album. Every track could easily be imagined as one of the top 50 on Billboard's hit list. Tim Cullen has toured with bands such as, Bowling for Soup and Sugarcult. He has already made a name for himself in Japan selling over 10,000 copies of his debut solo album, "Fun Razor."

If you have an eight or so year old little sister, niece, whatever, this is definitely a relatively clean, fun album to pass along to her. This pop star actually plays his guitar, and quite well actually.
