RecommendThis sampler is quite representational of what Asphodel has to offer - mostly in the illbient and turntablist vein. It features tracks form Tipsy, We, Mixmaster Mike (Beastie Boys DJ), Rob Swift, DJ Spooky and a few others as well. A fantistic overview of cutting edge illbient sounds and turntablists. Asphodel has been committed to to artists that like to break traditional boundaries in order to come up with something fresh and new. They have ended up being one of the most daring and influential labels at the end of this century.
