I have to refresh my memory on Since By Man's debut, We Sing The Body Electric. I recall being blown away by that release and yet A Love Hate Relationship seems completely new to me. I don't know if they have changed their sound all that much but I kinda like what I hear. I usually hate EPs because they just leave you wanting more material. And it seems that Revelation is so big on them. It is really heavy but really catchy too. It took me a couple listens to get into but all four tracks eventually grew on me. What about the cleverly titled "Who Would I Be Without My Middle Finger"? It's a pretty decent track too. I became entranced with the track "Goddamnit Baby This Is Soul". There was this crazy, groovy electronic thing going on that totally got my attention. They have a few similarities to that of the Blood Brothers but Since By Man has a thicker metal sound going on. I think I really must be on a heavy kick again. Heavy music is sounding so good right now.
