While I was never sent the entire 4 disc boxset, Sonic Unyon was grateful enough to send me a 10 song sampler of some of the rare material that was released on A Lifetime of Temporary Relief. That's good enough for me. I respect what Low does but I am definitely not a fanatic let alone, a completist. Basically, the 4 discs include three CDs packed with rare Low music and the fourth disc is a DVD of any videos that the band has put out in the past as well as some live footage. For those people just discovering Low, this is way too much to wrap your head around. Instead, opt for one of their full-length studio albums like Things We Lost In The Fire. There are a couple tracks like "Blowin' in the Wind" that I would have loved to hear. The last track on the sampler, "Lord Can You Hear Me" is bloody amazing! There are a few tracks on the sample that are a little less than good too. But again, this boxset is for hardcore Low fans. There is a reason that this band has spawned a genre unto their own. That's about all I have on this one.
