Paul van Dyk was talked about quite a bit this past year as trance made it's way into the public eye. He is a visionary when it comes to music and he believes very strongly in what he does. Out There and Back is just that. He shows you exactly how to start off somewhat slower and lower key and work the music into a frenzic anthem. He couldn't have put more essence of his live show in here even if he tried. The mix is amazing and the added remixes on the second side make it that much more of a treat. The track "Tell Me Why (The Riddle)" seems to be the highlight and most likely single on here as there are 2 added remixes on the second disc as well as a video (I couldn't get it to work). If you have yet to hear one of the trendsetters in electronica this is a must buy.
