DJ Tiesto - Just Be
Tiesto's latest effort, Just Be, is quite a diverse effort. In fact he even moves out of the Trance genre that he so often gets linked to in a couple places. Another impressive feat is that all the tracks on here are actually Tiesto's compositions. They are all pretty decent and I'm sure some other DJs will end up using a few of them. Just Be starts out with a very orchestral intro on "Forever Today" before kicking into what we have come to expect from Tiesto. We almost have some pop elements creep into the BT fronted track "Love Comes Again". Don't worry though because he still can get things trucking along pretty nicely. "Traffic" is where we start to see the DJ we remember. It's a good moving song that rocks in all the right places. "UR" is a bit of a different track starting out fairly airy and moving into a slower beat driven track. It features the vocals of Aqualung. I really enjoyed Nyana but Just Be didn't really seem to push quite as many boundaries as the other one. It still is a great listen and pretty standard trance album that most people should enjoy. While these albums are pretty much a dime a dozen, you can always look to Tiesto for a quality album.
