What else can you expect from much music correspondent, Nardwuar The Human Serviette. First off, don't walk into Ripple Rock without an extreme sense of humour. The Evaporators are the most fucked up, wacky musicians since...maybe the Dickies. Take the first song for example. "Addicted To Cheese" is only the beginning of The Evaporators' tomfoolery. The next track is the cleverly catchy "I Feel Like A Fat Frustrated Fuck". I can't really pull any others from the album because each one has it's own comedic value. "Are You Mad At Me?" sounds like it could easily have been a Rezillos track. It is probably one of the best tracks on the album. I honestly can't see someone listening to this over and over. It's a little catchy but Nardwuar's vocals do get a little wearing after a while. Ripple Rock makes for a great novelty album that you can share with your friends though.
