Choo Choo Records is one of UK’s brightest stars when it comes to Progressive Trance and House. This compilation collects some of their finer moments both past and present and they use Australian DJ Anthony Pappa to select and mix the tracks. It is very common for a label such as Choo Choo to ask a fairly prominent DJ like Pappa (he plays Twilo in NYC every two months) to mix up and add their own flavor to the material that they have. Pappa does a fine job even though he pretty much stays on the same level through the entire album. There are no tracks that take the feeling up to the next level. This provides a bit more of an ambient mix than a full on Progressive Trance mix. Fans of Choo Choo stuff will fully enjoy this mix as will fans of Anthony Pappa’s style. If you are getting into Progressive Trance you might want to look elsewhere for additions to your collection.
