Mount Sims is the alter ego of Milwaukee resident, Matt Sims. It allows him to reach into his inner sexuality to pull out some crazy cool rhythms that take from all sorts of electro-clash bands and meld them together. Ultra Sex allows for some total grooving while giving a soundtrack to some of the finest erotic dancers. You see, Mount Sims approached a couple of dancers in LA to perform with him to give his show exactly what he wanted; sexuality. Matt likes to call it technosexuality. I can’t think of more suitable label for Sims than the forward thinking Emperor Norton. It’s the kind of music that fits perfect next to Ladytron and Felix da Cat. I really found that Ultra Sex was a good headphone album with the volume turned up loud and everything else zoned out. There are quite a few vocals on the album but there main purpose is to create some atmosphere rather than to sing along with. Electro-clash fans need to check out Mount Sims.
