Now that Money Mark is at peace with a new record label (the cutting edge Emperor Norton) he is free to fulfill his dream of his funky lounge music. On Change is Coming Money Mark reaches out from his last album and hits more of the right notes and funky beats in order to reach a much wider audience. This is the man who helped the Beastie Boys get to be the influential band that they are. There are Latin flavors and smooth lounge grooves to chill out to. One of the Latin tracks is “Pepe Y Irene that was previously released on Red Hot in Latin with Los Lobos featured. Another track entitled “Use Your Head was previously released on Red Hot in Rio and featured the talents of Mario Caldato Jr. Another amazing feat for Money Mark is the playing of almost all the instruments on Change is Coming. The horns are pretty much the only instrument that Mark brought in extras. This is a great album that is perfect for lounge listening while sipping your favorite cocktail and chatting up that special someone.
