Sue Foley - Love Comin' Down
Originally from Ottawa Canada, Sue Foley found a home in Austin Texas as well as a home on the Shanachie record label. Only her second album on the label Love Comin' Down proves to be a fine improvement on the critically acclaimed Ten Days In November. She proves she can be both sexy as well as powerful. Her voice is stronger than ever and her guitar playing just keeps getting better as well. Established Canadian blues-rocker Colin Linden is found producing the album which was also recorded in Tragically Hips studio. Lucinda Williams makes an appearance on "Empty Cup" singing back-up harmonies. Sue shows she has dexterity too with the latin tinged "Mediterranean Breakfast". She is a welcome sound in the world of blues.
