Richard Thompson and Sandy Denny were able to create magical music together. Although the ever changing Fairport Convention lineup only featured this particular one for two albums, this one and the previous What We Did On Our Holidays, it was to be the peak of Fairports career. Obviously the band was going through a big infatuation with Bob Dylan as they cover three of his songs on this album while the remainder were either written by Thompson or Denny. The one exception is the traditional "Sailor's Life" which Sandy does a bang up job on. This album is a must for anyone who is the least bit interested in any sort of roots music.
