RecommendThis punk compilation is brought to you by Side One Dummy and Atticus, the clothing company started by Blink 182. It's a fine punk compilation too pulling from all sorts of different bands and labels. The trick here is to release rare and unreleased tracks in order to get by the label loopholes. Some of the bands here include Might Mighty Bosstones, Rocket From The Crypt, Taking Back Sunday, Dropkick Murphys, Jets To Brazil, Bane, and of course Blink 182 to name a few. The songs are smoking and whoever did the talent searching did a fine job. These bands are top of the heap in the punk world and it's hard to imagine many of these songs being unreleased as of yet. Dragging the Lake II is a solid compilation and a must for any punk fan. Some highlights include Sparta's "Vacant Skies", Jets To Brazil's "William Tell Override", and Dropkick Murphys' "Fields of Athenry". The album contains 26 cool tracks with some better than others but no really bad tracks. Check it out!
