RecommendDon't confuse Songs For The Jetset as a label compilation from the influential Jetset records. Instead be aware that the mysterious artists from the UK have joined together to give us a time trip back to the swinging 60's. This is the third installment of the successful Songs From The Jetset. Not so much a compilation as it is an atmospheric gem that sets the scene back 35 years and is content with it's retro sounds. The bands all partake in what they call Cinema Pop and it seems very appropriate for this creative series. Most of the bands I haven't heard of before but that doesn't mean that they lack quality at all. It's almost as if the bands take the mindframe that they are in the 1960's and that they are writing music for the future. Take a trip back in time and look at what the future might have held.
