It seems that hardcore is growing in leaps and bounds right now. Is it because the youth of today are so pissed at what our elders have done to this planet we all live on? Can’t say I blame them. Sworn In is another one of these hardcore bands that are mad at the world and want to tell you about it. They blend traditional hardcore elements with really disturbingly emotional lyrics. In the track “I Killed Midnight it starts out “I slit my throat, the last time I spoke, was a ‘thanks for everything’ not a ‘hope you choke’. Or what about track names like “Where Death Is The Cure and “Switchblades and Serenades. They focus on the desperation and regret that everyone feels from time to time. It makes for an angry album that gets you off. Basically an emo-thrash band that really knocks you right over. Sworn In would be at home playing with American Nightmare and Bane.
