Angry hardcore, brought to you by Revelation Records. Since By Man is one of Revelation’s newest signings and We Sing The Body Electric is their debut full-length. They formed in Milwaukee in 1999 when 5 like-minded musicians came together. The guys put out a couple albums on smaller labels but they are all out of print now. Since By Man are focusing on intense hardcore music like Converge and blending in almost catchy guitar riffs amongst all the screams and yells. They employed Kurt Ballou, famed hardcore producer, to capture the intensity that they are capable of. While Since By Man is not at all an easy listen for those faint-of-heart, it does show a band with its own ideals and creative ideas. They are a more unique band in a genre often filled with imitators. Intense is the only way you can describe what comes out of the speakers when Electric is playing. Watch for Since By Man in the months and years to come. They will be around for a while.
