RecommendNeotruth is a metal band from Russia that mixes the best of progressive metal with a death metal vocal style. Does it work? For a limited time. I found Neotruth to be fairly interesting upon first listen. The songs range from just under 2 minutes (the album opener “Entering the Infinity�) to 8+ minutes (the epic “The Rain�). For those who aspire on being death metal singers, the lyrics are included in the package. Songs are intense and the arrangements and production values are very high. Death metal fans would do well with checking these Russians out. The lyrics, in fact, are quite entertaining with Neotruth’s limited English “As heaven will be nailed to hell/Jesus Christ! Jesus Christ Bastard God! Die!�. I can’t imagine Neotruth to be that easy to find in a record store either with their obscure MetalAgen label but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
