Maharahj have succeeded. After listening to Chapter One: The Descent for the first time a actually felt like puking. I had a total headache and I swore that my headphones where actually welded onto my ears. I had to take a deep breath and go for a quick walk before I could try the album out for a second time. It scared the shit out of me! This is a good thing! I haven't heard anything this intense in quite some time. The production quality is excelent but I still wonder how the vocalist / screamer keeps his voice even through an entire track. The album is full on chaotic up until "Amongst The Machines" which is a bit of a break from the intensity the band gives off but no sooner than the track ends the screamer is back to torment us some more. Angry youths apply here.
