RecommendI think quite a few people had written off Madball as the crushing powerhouse it used to be. For those of you new to Madball, they rose as a side project of Agnostic Front and the ball just kept rolling from there. Freddy Cricien (vocals) and the crew take the NY hardcore scene back to it's roots and slaughter you with the hip hop style rhythms they get going. Don't for a minute think that this crew has lost it. In fact they are hitting harder than they ever had with anthems like "Still Searching" and the title track "Hold It Down". This is a powerhouse of an album and any hardcore / metal fan will see the merits in this band that has stayed true to it's roots.
