Lovelorn - All For The Price Of Rings
Wow! Was this ever a surprise! After getting this package from Pluto Records I had no idea what to expect from a band called Lovelorn. Well, let me tell you abour 'em. Lovelorn manage to fuse the best elements of the diverse styles of hardcore, emo, indie rock, math rock, and noisecore to create one of the most original heavy albums I have heard in ages. Once you think you have the band pinned they wriggle out and give you a fright. Apparently we won't be seeing anything else from Lovelorn as they have changed their name to The Handshake Murders. So if I have tweaked your curiousity just a bit let me assure you that any fan of diverse loud music will fully appreciate both Lovelorn and The Handshake Murders.
