RecommendLakuna is more or less David Narcizo, ex-Throwing Muses drummer, solo project. Do not expect anything like Throwing Muses as Lakuna is basically all programmed sounds and loops of vintage music. He enlists the help of some of his friends like Tom Gorman, Bernard Georges, and Kristen Hersh. Lakuna comes off as a trip-hop style of band as the loops and samples play. Not much in the way of vocals as David relies mostly on the obscure samples he has been collecting over the years. Some tracks are sparse with not much more than a piano and drums. A truly amazing debut by David Narcizo.
