Hiretsukan come from New York City and what better place to come from when your passion is angry hardcore music. That’s exactly what Hiretsukan play and they don’t hold back at all. Invasive//Exotic is their debut album and from the sounds of it they have their sound very well defined. It’s sort of like a bandsaw cutting through metal and then the operator chopping of his fingers in disgust at society. The whole album (7 songs) is done in just over 16 minutes and they even find time to pull off an impressive cover of Metallica’s “Creeping Death�. This version is Creeping indeed. Fans of Bane and other Equal Vision artists will enjoy what Hiretsukan does. Let me be the first to warn you that this is not for the faint-hearted. Don Fury takes production credits. And if Michelle is a girl (lead vocalist) I’m even more impressed.
