RecommendCan you say dynamics? Holy shit, is this band hot or what? If you have ever had the Deftones experience you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't and you like the heavy stuff, now's as good as any time to dive in headlong. But a brief warning, there's no return. Deftones are so infectious that they hold the listener right in throughout the entire album. White Pony introduces even more of the dynamics hinted at on their previous efforts. Chino Moreno vocals have matured very nicely and he is not afraid to actually sing. Don't let down your guard though because as soon as he lulls you into his trance he will bludgeon you with grating growls of anguish. Tool fans will be pleased with the duet "Passenger" which features Maynard James Keenan. The CD also has some pretty cool multimedia junk on it.

I had borrowed this from a friend at work one day back in '03. from the start of this cd i enjoyed every moment all the way to the end of this cd. i'd have to say my favorite track is Change (in the house of flies). why? i dunno, its one of the rare songs that have real feeling to it that takes a hold of me and takes me on a ride. yes "passenger" is a gr8 song with maynard...i love maynard!. i loved this cd so much that i HAD to buy it. i don't play it as much as i used to...but since i stumbled across it on here, you can be sure i'm pulling that one back out and takin it to work to crank up. i believe many would like this cd....if they say they don't ought to be kicked in the peanutz. but thats fine....more deftones for me :)
