Definitely not as heavy as some of the bands that Trust Company try to mold themselves after like Linkin Park and Tool but still moderately listenable. You may have heard their lead single “Downfall and it’s probably one of the heaviest tracks on the disc. The rest sounds like a mix between some of the heavy AOR rock that is all over the air today and something a little more emo. I would have to question their choice of vocalist for this kind of band because he is a little to breathy for this kind of music. Sure, he belts out a scream every now and then but for the most part he sounds like he should be in a Drive Thru Records band. While Trust Company may end up successful with radio play, their sound isn’t that original. There are some tracks, though, that are very listenable and enjoyable at the same time.
