RecommendBuddy could soon take Steve Earle over as my favorite country artist (Steve would have to fumble first). Buddy has one of those sincere voices that is so honest and heartfelt. Having his wifes beautiful voice accompanying him on many of the tracks is a highlight too. The husband wife team is sure making quite a stir. All the tracks on Cruel Moon are so well written with many different tempos and feelings being involved with each one. Many close friends are helping out too including Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris and Jim Lauderdale. If you are looking for a true country album (and they are getting harder to find all the time) try out Cruel Moon. You won't be disappointed.
